Sooo, looks like Palcomix might be shutting down soon, opinions?
As the title says, Palcomix keeps bringing up that they are going under and are even closing down some of their side sites like Rear Deliveries, opinions on their content and if there is anything major going to come out of it if it does go under?

They make decent content but the biggest problem with the site is they just keep complaining about not getting enough subscriptions, but in the end they barely even take any of their subscribers thoughts into consideration.

If they tried to get viewer feedback and then make some work based on their viewers opinions, then maybe they would get more subscribers.

What the owner of the site should do is aim to try and please his fanbase, rather than act sad and begging people to buy more subscriptions.

Seriously, to access the site at this point you need to click a smiley face. How much of a plead for attention is that?

In the modern age of the Internet, it seems like paid subscription services are better reserved for sites that offer TONS of diverse content. These days, your porn content has to compete with thousands of free services, like e hentai, you porn, etc. A smarter business model would probably be to use an ad network. I don't know if Google adsense allows porn sites, but if not there has to be some alternative. No paid subscriptions means your site will get more hits, increasing its ad revenue in turn. At least that's my opinion. I'm not a business expert, but it makes the most sense as far as I can tell. If someone has data proving the contrary, I'm not married to my opinion lol

I personally think that hentaikey is screwing them over, ccbill seems to be doing better for porn sites and quite honestly only 3 sites in hentai key are even worth it, zone archive, palcomix and its divisions, and the pixxx sites such as narutopixxx and bleachpixxx

Most of Pals divisions aren't even that good honestly.

You people do realize that porn's a 2.5 billion dollar industry in the US, right?

Now, how many motherfuckers do you think actually PAY for porn?

On /co/, I remember a thread linking a video on Pal's Youtube channel. Yes, they had on and that video was deleted soon after. Now, I didn't see it myself,, but the post in the thread were calling them stuff like a hentai sweatshop. In the video there was people sitting at computers in lawn chairs drawing the stuff.

There's always been this thing that the artwork is really traced. I've never seen any concrete proof of this. I've definitely seen a few and had this sense of familiarity. The taking and reusing of backgrounds doesn't help.

of that 2.5 billion dollar industry, how much of it involves the hentai market where no actual girl is having her body used for entertainment?

Sites such as rule34.xxx are also massively declining in revenue duo to the sole point of revenue being advertisements and the rise of adblockers. Tons of people feel entitled to use our service without contributing to help keep our service online. Its argued that ads shouldn't be the sole income but clearly subscriptions aren't working out either?

The most bizarre thing i see is the adblock users encourage other users to install/use adblock. That completely blows my mind since the only reason the site can stay online is because of the few (less then 50% now!) that doesn't actually use adblock.

Its like you go to a restaurant, then dine and dash even though the food was amazing! Then stand outside and encourage everyone who goes inside to also dine and dash until the restaurant goes bankrupt. #logic
